It’s easy to think that as “adults” we need to have it all together all the time, but that’s neither healthy nor realistic. I used to think my parents (or really any parent) knew exactly what they were doing and had every aspect of the life responsibilities all together, and the truth is, no one does. No one knows what they are doing and everyone has room to improve.

  • 4 Super Small Changes That Refreshed My Morning Routine

    I’m the type of person that never really understood the idea of a morning routine. For most years, my morning routine consisted of a few basic necessarily steps that got me from my bed to the bus stop.

    However, this year, I wanted to take more control of my mornings. I’ve watched Youtube videos and read articles about many morning routines before but I never found them realistic for my circumstances. I work a regular 8-5 job; I don’t really have time/motivation to complete an exhaustive list of activities before I can catch my bus. So I found little ways to refresh my morning routine instead of revamping it into a list of activities that I know I will not be able to complete.

  • Dealing With A Parking Ticket

    They are very few life admin tasks as dreadful and frustrating as a parking ticket. It’s not anything serious enough to justify making a big deal of, i.e. disputing your rent with a landlord, but not anything small enough to ignore, i.e. making a dentist appointment.

    It’s right there in the middle of frustrating and where it won’t keep you up at night but enough for you dread dealing with it.
